The Historical Maritime Society provides, in its statutes, including protection of the environment, particularly water. For this reason the Council decided to build a case against the thousands of drums containing toxic and radioactive waste unscrupulous criminals who have fled to the bottom of the sea, down with the ships that transported them. These drums are starting to spread their poison in our seas, creating unimaginable environmental damage, with serious repercussions on the entire ecosystem and the economies of all the towns on the coast.

"Stop the disaster" wants to raise awareness of stimuli that public administrations to intervene, they must:

  • Create a tool for monitoring and checking on the sites where these poisons have been sunk;
  • Activate the process of studying and testing on the dangers of these sites;
  • Monitor and possibly remediate sites more dangerous;
  • Turn on the international judiciary this crime is classified as a "crime against humanity" and continues to research leading to prosecution of those responsible for criminal and civil, so that they are called upon to compensate for damage caused.

It was set up an online petition that we hope all those who are sensitive to this problem subscribe.
The petition is located at the following address:
